Instructions for Obtaining the Practice Exam File

Read all of these instructions first before you begin with number 1.

1. You can download the file to
   A USB flash drive: Plug your USB flash drive into an available USB port,
   Your computer's hard drive
   or
   Your P drive: this can be done only at Queens College.
2. Then, click on the link for the appropriate practice exam:
   Word practice exam file,
   Excel practice exam file,
   Access practice exam file.
3. The File Download - Security Warning window appears.
4. Click the Run button.
5. The Internet Explorer - Security Warning window appears.
6. Click the Run button.
7. The Winzip window appears.
8. If you are using:
   A USB flash drive: click in the textbox labeled Unzip to folder: and change the A: to E:,
   Your computer's hard drive: click in the textbox labeled Unzip to folder: and change the A: to C:,
   or
   Your P drive: click in the textbox labeled Unzip to folder: and change the A: to P:.
9. Click the Unzip button.
10. Wait until a window pops up saying, "1 file(s) unzipped successfully".
11. Click the OK button.
12. Click the Close button.

Now, the practice exam file is on your storage media.
